Notary Public/Loan Signing Agent Return & Refund Policy

Overview

Trdina Notary Services LLC provides professional notary services in accordance with the Pennsylvania Notary Public Law (RULONA) and applicable administrative regulations. Notarial acts are professional services performed at the time of the appointment. Once a notarization has been completed, all notary fees are considered earned and are non‑refundable.

Non‑Refundable Notary Fees

Fees charged for notarial acts—including acknowledgments, jurats, oaths, affirmations, and other acts permitted under Pennsylvania law—are non‑refundable after completion of the notarization, even if a document is later refused or rejected by a third party.

Errors & Corrections

If an error occurs that is solely the responsibility of Trdina Notary Services LLC (such as an incorrectly completed notarial certificate), the notary will correct or re‑notarize the document at no additional charge, provided the correction is legally permitted.
Refunds are not issued for correctable notary errors.

Document Rejection

Trdina Notary Services LLC is not responsible for the rejection of documents due to:

  • Improper or incomplete document preparation
  • Incorrect or missing information provided by the signer
  • Requirements imposed by courts, government agencies, lenders, or other receiving parties
  • A signer’s refusal or inability to proceed

No refunds are issued in these circumstances.

Mobile Notary Travel & Convenience Fees

Travel and convenience fees compensate for time, mileage, and scheduling and are separate from notarial fees.

  • Travel fees are non‑refundable once the notary has departed for the appointment.
  • If the notary arrives and the notarization does not occur for reasons beyond the notary’s control, travel fees remain non‑refundable.

Cancellations & No‑Shows

  • Cancellations made before travel begins may qualify for a refund excluding convenience or administrative fees.
  • Same‑day cancellations, last‑minute cancellations, or no‑shows are not eligible for refunds of travel or convenience fees.

Refusal of Service

Trdina Notary Services LLC reserves the right to refuse service as required by Pennsylvania law, including but not limited to situations involving:

  • Improper or insufficient identification
  • Lack of willingness or awareness by the signer
  • Suspected fraud, coercion, or illegal activity

In such cases, notarial fees will not be charged, though travel fees may still apply.
